Sleep? ~What's that.

Didn't last, stayed chez les parents for 2 weeks and back to bed hopping.
In fact at the aforementioned parents it was me in bed avec les enfants and poor Husband relegated to a sleeping bag on the floor. Only way he could get a decent sleep and the bathroom still isn't finished!

Been up to my eyeballs in washing and ironing as we have sicky babies. The joys, and so many bed sheets.

My socks haven't progressed since Friday. No knitting and bugger all reading done since The Sickness

Did get to watch England beat Ireland though

Sleep

The wonders of Sleep. Oh blissfull, joyfull Sleep.
William has slept through for 2 nights!
The wonders! And the night before he woke up at 5 then hopped into bed and fell baack to sleep after around half an hour and slept till gone 9. Typically it was the one day I wanted to be out earlyish but I can cope with lateness if it means Sleep.
What a lovely change from the 3-4 hours I've been averaging lately.

Both babies are sleepies at the moment and I'm trying to get some knitting done but Dearly Beloved is out so I don't want to start something (like picking up stiches round arm-holes) and then get interrupted. However, if I leave it till tomorrow when he's around you can garantee Monsieur Le George will want to feed feed feed all evening and who is the only one who can? So I might as well get on with what I can now. or the law of sod will come into play.

I love Breastfeeding....

Just sitting here typing with one hand as I have a sleeping baby on me. He fell asleep feeding and it just made me think how satisfying nursing a baby is and on so many levels.
It is nutrition, immune system and comfort all rolled into one and immensly satisfying for me. Not to mentin the oxytocin highs!

Of course it means I shan't get any knitting done but I can live with that ; )

That annoying stage

Both my current knitting project and my babies are at annoying stages. Woe is me!
The knitting: I'm at that point where I'm well over 2 thirds done but that last third and doing the ribbing round the neck etc...I just can't bear the thought. I must just think about the wearing of it once it's finished.
Children: DS1 has never slept so no point complaining but DS2 has started refusing to go to sleep on his own so bang go any evening activities for me for a while unless I can take him with me

I have no realy idea why I'm doing this or when I'll really get the time but hey.
Both my babies are asleep AT THE SAME TIME!!!!!!!!!! A rarety in this house so I'm going to get some knitting done in a minute.
I think I shall just use this for pointless ramblings.
Tank top almost finished.
